Giraffes are the tallest animals in the world and live in Africa. Their incredibly long necks allow them to easily reach leaves high in the trees.

Each giraffe has a unique pattern of spots, much like a fingerprint. They are one of the most popular animals at the zoo.

Interestingly, a giraffe's long neck has only seven vertebrae, just like a human's. They also sleep very little, only dozing for about 30 minutes a day.

In many African cultures, giraffes have been seen as symbols of wisdom and elegance. Today, they frequently appear as children's toys and brand mascots, notably as the iconic character for Toys"R"Us.
