Floppy disks were a widely used data storage device in the 1980s and 90s. Despite their small size, they were very useful at the time.

Interestingly, many airlines continued to use floppy disks for aircraft software updates until 2020. Although an outdated technology, its proven reliability kept it in use in critical systems.
